WildStat Privacy Policy
Effective September 15, 2026
WildStat is a multiplayer fantasy game. This policy explains how WildStat handles information when you play, sign in, use social features, or contact support. For privacy questions, email support@wildstatmmo.com.
Information we process
- Account and profile: guest and registered account identifiers, email address and sign-in information handled by our authentication provider, player name, avatar, optional gender selection, age band, and acceptance of the game terms. Our game server receives an age band, not your birth date or exact age. WildStat does not receive your sign-in provider’s password.
- Game activity: stats, equipment, inventory, research, rewards, virtual-currency records, progress, game-world activity, guild membership, duels, and rankings.
- Optional Patreon connection: if you connect Patreon, we store your Patreon account identifier, authorization tokens, membership tier and status, and chosen cosmetic frame to verify supporter benefits. We do not request your Patreon email address or payment-card details. Your selected supporter frame is visible to other players; your Patreon identifier and tokens are private.
- Communications: chat messages, player and message reports, block lists, bug reports, and information you choose to send to support.
- Technical information: account and session identifiers, IP addresses processed by service providers, app version, connection outcomes, timings, and diagnostics used to operate and improve reliability.
- Advertising: the Android test app includes Google AdMob test ads. The ads SDK processes device identifiers, IP addresses (which may indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Ads can be prepared before you choose to watch them.
The current Android internal test release has paid purchases disabled. We will update these disclosures when enabling purchase services. The game does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or precise device location.
Why we use information
We use information to authenticate players, synchronize and save progress, provide multiplayer and social features, deliver rewards, prevent abuse, moderate content, respond to support requests, and diagnose performance problems. Email sign-in and social participation are optional; guest play still requires a game identifier and saved game activity.
Who receives information
SpacetimeDB and SpacetimeAuth provide game-server and authentication services. Cloudflare and GitHub provide website hosting and delivery. These providers process information needed to operate their services. Google AdMob processes advertising-related information as described above. Their services may process information outside your country.
When you choose to connect Patreon, Patreon handles its own sign-in and payments and shares authorized membership information with WildStat. See Patreon's privacy policy.
Profiles, player names, stats, equipment, rankings, and shared game activity are available to other players. Chat is visible to the audience of the selected channel. Reports and support requests are available to the people handling them. Do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information in chat or reports.
We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate fraud or threats to the safety of players or the service.
Provider information: SpacetimeDB, Cloudflare, GitHub, and Google.
Storage and security
The game uses HTTPS and secure WebSocket connections for online services. Access tokens and preferences are also stored on your device to maintain your session. No transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Retention
Account information and saved progress remain while your account is in use or until a verified deletion request is completed. Public chat history has a 24-hour retention window. Structured startup diagnostics are subject to a seven-day retention window. Reports, support correspondence, and abuse-prevention records are retained while needed to resolve the issue, prevent abuse, or meet a legal obligation; they are not subject to the public-chat limit.
Disconnecting Patreon in the profile frame picker removes its stored authorization tokens and membership link from active game data. Deleting your WildStat account also removes this connection. Disconnecting does not cancel your Patreon subscription; manage subscriptions and authorized applications on Patreon.
Deletion removes associated account data from active game systems. Limited records may need to remain while an unresolved security investigation, dispute, or legal retention requirement applies. Backup copies follow the relevant service provider’s backup lifecycle and are not used to restore a deleted account to active use. If an exception affects your request, support will explain the records and applicable retention period.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can request deletion of your WildStat account and associated data, or request deletion of particular information without closing your account. Visit Account and data deletion or email support@wildstatmmo.com. We verify ownership before acting. Our target is to complete verified requests within 30 days; we will explain any additional time or applicable exception.
Deleting the app or clearing its storage does not delete server-side account data. Android settings provide controls to reset or delete your advertising ID; this does not remove your WildStat account. You can block or report players from their profiles. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, or object to processing of your information; contact support to make a request.
Age requirement
WildStat is intended for ages 13 and older. Players below the age of legal majority need a parent or guardian to review and accept the game terms. If you believe a child below 13 has provided information, contact support so we can investigate and address it.
Changes
We will update this page and its effective date when our data practices change. Material changes will be communicated through the game or another appropriate channel.
